中文论文强调简短精悍、平铺直叙，不太喜欢用略显情绪化的连接词，但英文论文写作则不一样。“However, also, in addition, consequently, afterwards, moreover, furthermore, further, although, unlike, in contrast, similarly, unfortunately, alternatively, parallel results, In order to, despite, for example, compared with, other results, thus, therefore...”都经常可见。 用好连接词可以使文章层次更加清楚，意思更加明确。当你写完一段英文，最好先检查一下自己是否较好地使用了连接词。如：第一段要明确告诉读者你要讨论几个部分“...Therefore,there are three aspects of this problem have to be addressed. The first questions involves...The second problem relates to...The third aspect with...”清晰地把观点逐层叙述，也可以直接用“First, Second, Third, Finally...”当然，“Furthermore, in addition”等可以用来补充说明。（摘自科研工匠系列讲座《顶级期刊论文的投稿与发表》，专家：王老师）
